Zack Zoller joined the University of Pennsylvania as a Temporary Assistant Strength & Conditioning Coach in September 2021 and then promoted to a full-time role in February 2022. During his time, Zoller has worked with numerous sports including extensive work with both the men’s and women’s basketball programs during their 2021-22 season.
Zoller came to Penn from Complete Game of Pennsylvania in Royersford, Pa., where he started the program’s strength & conditioning program and worked with players ranging in age from middle school to the college level. Prior to that, he was as assistant strength & conditioning coach at Ascent Athletic in Garnet Valley, Pa. Zoller’s professional experiences also include stints as an intern and baseball coach with Cressey Sports Performance in Hudson, Mass., and strength coach and baseball coach with the Velo Farm in Forest Hill, Md.
Zoller, who grew up in nearby Collegeville, Pa., did his undergraduate and graduate studies at Shippensburg (Pa.) University and holds a bachelor’s degree in finance with a concentration in personal financial planning and a master’s degree in Organizational Development and Leadership. He played baseball for the Raiders, starting in center field and serving as captain. When The Ship’s 2020 season was canceled due to COVID-19, he served as the program’s virtual strength & conditioning intern which included educational coursework, workshops and guest speakers with the University’s head strength & conditioning coach, Dennis Kerstetter.
Zoller is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist with the NSCA.
