Keith Maurer is in his 17th year as a member of the Penn Athletics team and his sixth as the Assistant AD, Facilities. In his role, he oversees the day to day maintenance of all athletic facilities, assists with capital project management and planning, and assists with event preparation and planning. He is also the secondary sport administrator for soccer and squash.
Maurer arrived at Penn in 2006 as the Assistant Director of Football Operations before transitioning into facilities and operations. He served the Division as the Assistant Director for Facilities and Operations from 2007-13 and the Associate Director for Facilities from 2013-17 before moving into his current role.
He is currently the building administrator for Franklin Field, Palestra, Tse Sports Center, and the Penn Squash Center. Maurer is also a member of Penn campus Sustainability Coordinator, working to find unique solutions to reduce waste.
He earned a bachelor's degree from West Chester in 2006, where he played men's volleyball, and a master's in sports administration from Temple in 2008.
