Biography


Penn senior Chuck Snyder was slated to compete on the field this season but due to injury he will join the coaching staff and help the Quakers from the sidelines. In three seasons with the Red and Blue, the midfielder registered his only career point with an assist last season and played in 26 games from 2003-05.


A native of San Diego, Calif., Snyder was a four-year letterwinner and the 2003 CIF Western League Player of the Year. From 1998-99 he was a member of the ODP District 1. He also represented the United States at the Harlem Cup in July 2001.


The son of Lynne Lasry and Allan Snyder, Snyder is enrolled in the College of Arts and Sciences majoring in English.
