Rob Forster

Ivy League Championships -- 1 (2019)

Rob Forster rejoined the University of Pennsylvania's men's lacrosse coaching staff in August 2024. He came back after serving as head boys' lacrosse coach at La Salle College High School in 2024, leading the Explorers to a 22-2 overall record including a trip to the PIAA 3A state championship game.

Forster is no stranger to Penn, serving as video coordinator for the Quakers for the 2019 and 2020 seasons. During his time with the Red and Blue, Penn won the Ivy League regular-season and Tournament titles during the 2019 campaign, compiling a 12-4 overall record and advancing to the NCAA Championship quarterfinal round.

Before his first stint at Penn, Forster spent five seasons as head coach at the Academy of the New Church, guiding the Lions to five straight Friends Schools League championships and a berth in the semifinals of the inaugural Victory Events National Prep Championships in 2018. His record at ANC was 76-20.

Forster served as the offensive coordinator for La Salle College High School in 2012-13, helping the Explorers win the 2013 PIAA state championship. He was a high school All-American at La Salle in 2005 and led the Explorers to their first of four state titles in 2004. Following a standout career at Penn State, where he led the Nittany Lions in scoring in multiple seasons, Forster returned to his high school alma mater as La Salle's JV head coach (2010-11).
