Regan Gallagher joined the University of Pennsylvania men’s basketball staff as its Director of Operations in September 2022.
Gallagher’s experience with college basketball extends to her days at Saint Joseph’s, where she served as a student manager with SJU’s women’s basketball program and was the program’s head manager as a junior and senior. Gallagher graduated from Hawk Hill in 2020 with a degree in business administration (sports marketing) and a minor in Leadership, Ethics and Organizational Sustainability.
A local product, Gallagher came to Penn from Archbishop Wood High School (her alma mater) where she was the school’s Assistant Director of Advancement. In that position, she developed and managed portfolios of donors, cultivated and solicited donors and donor prospects, and kept the alumni community updated on Archbishop Wood’s annual fund.
As a student at Wood, Gallagher was a student manager with the girls’ basketball program. Her senior year, the team won both the Philadelphia Catholic League title—doing so at The Palestra—and the Pennsylvania Interscholastic Athletic Association (PIAA) 3A state championship.
Gallagher enjoyed two stints with Major League Baseball’s Philadelphia Phillies, working with the entertainment staff for the 2018 season and the fan club staff in 2019. She was named the Phillies’ “Employee of the Month” in September 2019.
