Julie Greger-Grant

After spending two years as a volunteer assistant coach with the Penn women’s basketball program, Julie Greger-Grant made the move to coordinator of operations for both basketball programs in 2006. She enters her eighth season in the position in 2013-14.

Greger-Grant -- a member of the Philadelphia University women’s basketball team from 2002-04 -- brings a wide array of experience in the sports industry to the Quakers. She has worked in ticketing, marketing and game operations, and has served as a basketball counselor.

From June of 2000 to August of 2002, Greger-Grant served as the head basketball counselor at Definitely Sports Inc., managing activities for boys and girls ages 8-13 at basketball camps that averaged 100 participants.

Greger-Grant gained valuable experience on the business side of the sports industry by serving as a marketing and game operations intern for the Philadelphia KiXX, an organization in the Major Indoor Soccer League. During the summer of 2003, she prepared grassroots marketing proposals and conducted market research to target companies viewed as potential sponsorship partners.

Prior to her arrival at Penn, Greger-Grant was a sales representative with Turnstyle Ticketing. There she accommodated customer requests and was responsible for membership sales and sale of tickets to professional sporting events.

Greger-Grant graduated from Philadelphia University in 2003 with a bachelor’s degree in marketing, then earned her Master’s of Business Administration in 2004 from the same university.

Greger-Grant was married in August 2011. She and her husband, Ian, live in Ridley, Pa.
