Milne came to Philadelphia after two years at Cornell University—near her hometown of Camillus, N.Y.—where she was a Graduate Assistant Athletic Trainer while pursuing her master’s at Ithaca College. In that position, she worked with the Big Red’s football sports medicine staff and helped oversee student athletic trainers from Ithaca and SUNY Cortland. Milne also did an internship with Cornell’s strength and conditioning program while at Ithaca, working with the Big Red’s men’s and women’s hockey, volleyball, women’s basketball and women’s soccer programs.

Milne attended Hofstra University and played women’s lacrosse for the Pride, serving as a two-time captain and earning All-Colonial Athletic Association (CAA) honors all four years. She also was an Athletic Training Student as an undergraduate and helped provide coverage for the Pride’s men’s basketball, women’s soccer and wrestling programs as well as Adelphi University’s field hockey program.

Milne graduated from Hofstra with a degree in athletic training, then earned her master’s degree in Exercise and Sport Science from Ithaca College with a concentration in Sport Psychology.

Milne has been a National Athletic Trainer Association (NATA) member since 2016. A Certified Athletic Trainer by the Board of Certification (BOC), she also has certification in CPR/AED and first aid from the American Red Cross.
