High School: Four-year varsity starter and two-time team captain … Won Gold Coast League Championship in both 2022 and 2023 … First-team All-Gold Coast League selection in 2022 and 2023 … All-CIF State selection in 2023 … Finished high school career as Brentwood School’s all-time leader in receptions, yards, and receiving touchdowns … During senior campaign, racked up 856 yards on 62 catches with 16 TDs … Also ran track all four years and played basketball during freshman year.
 
Personal: Son of Cece and Mike Karz … Father, Mike, played four years of volleyball at Penn from 1985-88 … Enrolled in the College of Arts and Sciences.

From a football perspective, I love all the coaches and how the team is run, and I see myself growing under their coaching. The academic opportunities are also vast and it has the perfect programs and classes to prepare me for the rest of my life. The common ‘four years for the next 40’ sales pitch is extremely applicable here. Outside of campus, Philly is an amazing city that I want to be a part of. I've always felt comfortable at Penn and I'm greatly looking forward to calling it my home.”
