Wrestling Announces Full 2026-27 Schedule

PHILADELPHIA – The University of Pennsylvania's Roger Reina Head Coach of Wrestling, Matt Valenti announces his program's schedule ahead of the 2026-27 season. Penn Wrestling will celebrate the 100th anniversary of the Historic Palestra, the team's home arena since opening in 1927.

"Our 2026-26 schedule is a reflection of our aspirations," said Valenti. "If we want to raise our level, we have to step on the line to compete against the best. This is a great opportunity for our guys to show what we're capable of doing and we believe we're ready. There are big things ahead for this program."

The 2026-27 campaign officially begins at the Princeton Open on Nov.1, before heading to the Journeymen Sunshine Wrestling Duals on Nov. 14 to face Wisconsin and Iowa State. The Quakers open the home slate with back-to-back competitions, hosting Nebraska (Nov. 21) and the PRTC Keystone Classic (Nov.22). The Red and Blue hit the road once more in 2026, visiting Virginia Tech on Dec. 4.

Penn rings in the New Year at the 2027 Southern Scuffle, Jan. 2-3 in Chattanooga, followed by trips to the F&M Open on Jan. 9 and Hofstra on Jan. 10.

Ivy League action begins at Columbia on Jan. 24. The Red and Blue return home for a doubleheader on Jan. 31 to face Brown and Harvard, before heading to Cornell on Feb. 7. The regular season concludes with home matches against Princeton (Feb. 11) and Lehigh (Feb. 14), followed by the season finale at Rider on Feb. 18.

The 2027 Ivy League Wrestling Championships will be hosted at the Historic Palestra on Sunday, March 7, in celebration of the venues 100th anniversary. The Quakers hope to earn automatic bids to the 2027 NCAA Wrestling Championships (March 18-20) held at the Enterprise Center in St. Louis, Missouri.
