PRINCETON, N.J. – Ahead of the 2026 Ivy League women's volleyball season, Princeton took the top spot in the Ivy League volleyball preseason poll following a media vote.
 
Princeton took home both the regular season and conference tournament titles last year to punch their ticket to the NCAA Tournament. The Tigers took down the No. 3 seeded Yale Bulldogs in five sets to win their first ever Ivy League Tournament title.

Cornell and Brown joined Princeton and Yale in the four-team Ivy League Tournament last season. The Tigers (122 points) led the way with 11 first place votes in the preseason poll while Yale (115) ranked second with four first place votes. Cornell (87 points) was picked third while Brown (82) points came in fourth. Brown also earned one first place vote.

Penn was picked to finish fifth with 65 points, followed by Harvard (49), Dartmouth (36) and Columbia (20). The Quakers finished 12-12 (6-8 Ivy League) last year in the first year of the Tyler Hagstrom era in University City.

Penn opens the 2026 season on Friday, Sept. 4 against Stony Brook in Annapolis, Md.

The Ivy League volleyball season is slated to begin on Friday, September 4. Following the regular season, the two-day Ivy League volleyball tournament is slated for, November 20-22. The four-team tournament will consist of the top-four teams from the regular season and will be hosted at the site of the No. 1 seed.
