Penn vs. George Mason Series
*The Quakers and Patriots have met ten times, with the all-time series tied at 5-5.

*Penn enters Thursday's contest riding a two-game winning streak against George Mason, including last year's 1-0 victory at Rhodes Field.

*The Red and Blue are in search of their first win in Fairfax since the 1998 season, the first meeting between the two programs.

Penn vs. FDU Series
*The Quakers are undefeated in the all-time series against the Knights, holding a 3-0 advantage.

*The last time the two programs faced off, Penn secured a 2-1 victory in Teaneck, handing FDU its first loss at home since 2023.

*The Red and Blue have outscored the Knights, 7-1, across the three all-time meetings, including two shutout victories in University City.

Quaker Notemeal
*Penn ended the 2025 season with a 0-0 draw against Yale. The Red and Blue rounded out last year's campaign with a 5-4-6 overall record, their best finish since the 2021 season, and a 1-3-3 mark in Ivy League play.

*The Quakers bring back a bulk of their starting rotation, with Abbey Cook, Taylor Ferraro, Mia Fuss, Anuli Okafor, Avery Chapel, Magali Capdevila, Kylie Emanuel, Eden Veenema, and Lily White providing plenty of experience heading into the 2026 season.

*Cook returns after earning First Team All-Ivy honors last season. The senior recorded career highs in goals (six), points (13), and shots on goal (13), all of which led the Quakers. Cook was one of just four players to start all 15 matches, scoring in three consecutive Ivy League contests against Columbia (Oct. 12), Cornell (Oct. 18), and Harvard (Oct. 25).

*In addition to last year's returners, the Red and Blue welcome a class of 11 freshmen: Josephine Hensley, Ria Desai, Emily Burnham, Camarin Choi, Lane Flanagan, Marley Murdock, Alisa Ziletkina, Grace Saxton, Marijke Terhorst, Harper Goergen, and Isabelle Rudnick. Penn also welcomes new assistant coach Kamryn Stablein.

*Penn's success last season extended into the classroom, as six Quakers earned College Sports Communicators Academic All-District honors.

Scouting the Patriots
*George Mason split the first two games of its season entering Thursday's contest. The Patriots opened their campaign with a 4-1 win over VMI before falling to James Madison, 2-1.

*The Patriots have featured a balanced attack through their first two games, with four different players finding the back of the net. Freshman Keira Jeffries leads the way with two goals and five points.

*George Mason wrapped up the 2025 campaign with a 4-10-4 record and a 3-5-2 mark in conference play, finishing tied for eighth in the A-10 and missing the conference tournament. The Patriots scored 17 goals across 18 matches.

*The Patriots do not return an All-Conference selection from last season after graduate student Zoë Vidaurre departed following a First Team All-Atlantic 10 campaign. Vidaurre became the program's first All-A-10 honoree since 2016 and just the second Patriot to earn First Team honors since Mason joined the conference in 2013. She led the team in both goals and points.

*The Quakers will likely face Libby Davy in net Thursday. The senior has played all 180 minutes between the pipes for the Patriots this season. Davy also started last year's contest against Penn, allowing the lone goal in the 1-0 Quaker victory.

Scouting the Knights
*FDU kicked off the 2026 season with a 2-1 loss to Seton Hall before traveling to College Park to face Maryland on Thursday.

*Senior Ana Salas accounts for the Knights' lone goal so far this season.

*FDU enters the 2026 campaign a year removed from an undefeated conference slate, winning the NEC regular-season championship and earning the No. 1 seed in the conference tournament after posting a 9-0-2 mark in league play.

*The Knights also set a program and NEC record with six First Team All-NEC selections in 2025. Five of those six honorees return in 2026, including NEC Midfielder of the Year Laura Martinez.
