PHILADELPHIA, Pa. – The University of Pennsylvania women's soccer team has announced their 2026 captains, with Abbey Cook, Taylor Ferraro, and Eden Veenema receiving the honor.

A First Team All-Ivy honoree, junior Abbey Cook is coming off a stellar 2025 campaign that saw her lead the Quakers in goals (6), points (13), shots (25), and shots on goal (13). She also earned Academic All-Ivy and Academic All-District for her work on the field and in the classroom.

On the other side of the ball, defenders Taylor Ferraro and Eden Veenema are coming off great seasons as well, leading a backline that produced four shutouts and a mere 1.3 goals allowed per game. Individually, Ferraro produced a goal and two assists (four points total) while Veenema added a goal and assist (three points) of her own.

All three will contribute significantly with their play and their leadership as they head into 2026.
