PHILADELPHIA, Pa. – Douglas N. Brush Head Coach Krissy Turner has announced the addition of assistant coach Kamryn Stablein to the women's soccer staff.
"We are excited to have Kamryn join our program. Her passion for coaching and developing players is second to none. Our goalkeepers will be in great hands with Kam's ability to teach and lead. Additionally, our student-athletes will benefit from Kam's drive to be a winner."
Stablein joins the University of Pennsylvania women's soccer staff as an assistant coach this spring, bringing extensive experience as both a goalkeeper and coach. She adds significant value to the Quakers' program through her work with elite goalkeepers at the youth, collegiate, and professional levels, including experience identifying youth talent for the U.S. Women's National Team pipeline through ID2.
Stablein has served as a Technical Goalkeeper Coach at The Keeper Institute in South Jersey since 2018. In this role, she designed and led goalkeeper training sessions for athletes ranging from youth to professional levels and helped direct goalkeeper clinics and camps across the United States. Through The Keeper Institute, she has worked directly with professional-level goalkeepers competing in the NWSL and the Gainbridge Super League.
In addition to her goalkeeper-specific work, Stablein brings extensive club and head coaching experience. She previously coached with Highline Premier FC in West Seattle, where she served as a head coach for multiple teams and helped lead and develop the club's goalkeeper program. She also served as head coach of The Bush School girls' soccer program during the Fall 2025 season.
As a student-athlete, Stablein began her collegiate career at the University of Delaware, where she earned Second Team All-CAA honors and captained the Blue Hens during one of the most successful seasons in program history. She later transferred to Temple University, where she completed her undergraduate degree and enjoyed a standout career for the Owls. At Temple, Stablein received multiple AAC honors, served as team captain, and currently ranks No. 10 all-time in saves in Temple women's soccer history.
Stablein earned her master's degree in Higher Education with a concentration in Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion from Temple University. She currently resides in Philadelphia, Pa.
