PHILADELPHIA, Pa. – The University of Pennsylvania softball team rallied against Saint Peter's during Saturday's doubleheader at Penn Park, earning 4–2 and 11–2 victories.

How It Happened
Penn 4, Saint Peter's 2
In the bottom of the first inning, senior
Jade Montgomery doubled to right field to advance sophomore's Alexis Youngern and
Gigi Ganje for first tally two runs to the board.
Saint Peter's found their first run in the top of the fourth. Angela Tremarco reached first base by an error, leading Kiana Kadena Matsuda to score Saint Peter's first run.
Later in the bottom of the sixth inning, Ganje singled to left field to bring in both junior
Megan Huang and freshman
Tannar Keenan to double their score.
Saint Peter's Carlee Charles RBI brought in Olivia Christopher to the plate at the top of the seventh. It was not enough to keep the Quakers from taking game one, 4-2.
Penn 11, Saint Peter's 2
The sophomore duo started things off bottom of the first as Youngren lined an RBI single to score Ganje. Montgomery continued the monument striking center to call in Ganje.
Saint Peter's retaliated at their next at bat with Angela Tremarco's double to left, allowing Kayla Foy to score a run. In the top of the third, Carlee Charles hit deep to right field to advance to third and deliver an RBI to Kiana Kadena Matsuda.
Penn exploded in the bottom of the third and fourth, scoring nine runs off of stolen bases, errors and hits.
Saint Peter's few base hits could not let them score, leading the Quakers to earn out game 2, 11-2.

The Quakers will host Saint Peter's one more time tomorrow before turning eyes to Leigh on Wednesday at 3:30 p.m. at Penn Park.
