PHILADELPHIA – The University of Pennsylvania men's basketball team hits the favorable part of its Ivy League schedule this weekend, hosting archrival Princeton on Saturday at 2 p.m.
The Quakers will be home for their next three games and five of the next six as they look to climb into Ivy League Tournament contention. Penn went 3-4 in the first half of league play but is just two games out of first place as seven of the eight teams are jumbled at either 5-2, 4-3 or 3-4.
Saturday's rivalry game will air nationally on ESPNU. It is also Alumni Day for the program, which will honor four former championship teams and hold an alumni shootaround at The Palestra from 11 a.m. to noon.

The Series with Princeton
*254th meeting; Princeton leads, 127-126 (the first time the Tigers have ever led the all-time series).
*Princeton has dominated the series for several years now, winning the last 14 meetings, 22 of the last 24—Penn sweeping the 2018 games on the way to the Ivy title—and 30 of the last 34 dating back to the 2008-09 season.
*Princeton won the first meeting this season, 78-76, at Jadwin Gym on January 5. Weird game: Penn shot 19-19 at the foul line, a program record, while the Tigers hit their first 16 field goals in the second half.
Ethan Roberts led Penn with 19 points,
AJ Levine scored 15,
TJ Power had 13 and
Dalton Scantlebury added 12.
*The Tigers swept last season's games, eking out a 61-59 decision here at The Palestra and then rolling, 95-71, at Jadwin Gym in the season finale.
