The D/H Home Weekend
*The Quakers are hosting the Big Green and the Crimson on the same weekend for the 65th time since the start of Ivy League play; however, it's just the second time this has happened in the last six years.
*Penn has swept this home weekend 46 times (most recently in 2019-20); split it 17 times (most recently last season); and been swept just once, in 2008-09.
The Series with Dartmouth
*The Quakers and Big Green are meeting for the 229th time overall, with Penn holding a 162-66 lead in the overall series.
*Penn won the first meeting this season in Hanover, 84-74.
TJ Power and
Ethan Roberts led the way for the Red and Blue, scoring 27 and 25 points, respectively, while
AJ Levine added 14 and
Michael Zanoni chipped in with 11.
*These teams split last year's series, Dartmouth getting a 73-70 victory in Hanover in the Ivy opener for both clubs but Penn coming back for an 88-75 win at The Palestra. The year before, the Red and Blue swept the Green.
*Penn has had great success against the Big Green at The Palestra, winning the last seven and ten of the last 11 dating back to 2014.
The Series with Harvard
*The Quakers and Crimson are meeting for the 190th time overall, with Penn holding a 139-50 lead in the series.
*Harvard won the first meeting this season, 64-63 in Cambridge on MLK Day. Roberts led Penn with 27 points—giving him 52 for the D/H road trip—while Levine scored 15 and Power had 12.
*Penn and Harvard split the series last year, the road team winning each of the games. Penn beat Harvard in Cambridge, 82-67, but the Crimson came back with a 79-78 win in overtime in the rematch about a month later in Philly.
*Penn is looking to snap a two-game losing streak to Harvard at The Palestra; prior to that, the Quakers had won six of seven dating back to 2017.
