NEW HAVEN, CONN. – The University of Pennsylvania men's tennis team took down No. 26 Yale in New Haven on Wednesday, 4-1.
The Quakers took two out of three doubles matches as #6
Manfredi Graziani and
Aaron Sandler took down Vignesh Gogieni and Edward Liao in the one spot, 6-4.
Justin Chung and
Matthew Rutter started off singles with a pair of wins for the Red and Blue as they took a 3-0 lead.
But Edward Liao of Yale would not let his Bulldogs get swept as he took down
Luka Butera in the two spot for their first point.
Freshman phenom
Vojtech Vales followed with his seventh singles win of the year, taking down Varun Verma for the match clinching win for the Quakers.
