How It Happened
Just three minutes into the contest, the Quakers capitalized on an early penalty corner to take a 1-0 lead. Maxi Aranowitz found Thomson, whose shot was deflected by Mangat into the net to put the Red and Blue on the board.

The two teams traded possession throughout the remainder of the opening quarter, with the Bears holding a slight offensive edge. Brown recorded three shots and three penalty corners compared to Penn's two shots and one corner, but Thomson's early strike gave the Quakers the advantage heading into the second quarter.

The Red and Blue entered the second quarter with a 1-0 lead, marking just the second time in 10 games this season that Penn held an advantage entering the second period. However, the Bears quickly shifted the momentum, converting a penalty corner to even the score.

Four minutes later, Grace Almeida found the back of the cage to give Brown a 2-1 lead. The Bears struck again on a late penalty corner, extending their advantage to 3-1 heading into halftime.

Neither side found the back of the cage in the third quarter, as Brown maintained its two-goal lead heading into the final 15 minutes. Goalkeeper Ruby de Frees made several key stops to keep the Quakers within striking distance, but the Bears continued to pressure the Penn defense. Brown outshot the Red and Blue, 6-1, during the period and held a 4-1 advantage in penalty corners.

With five minutes remaining, Penn pulled de Frees from the goal to add an extra attacker in search of a comeback. The decision paid off when the Quakers earned a penalty corner, which Czajkowski converted to cut the deficit to one.

However, with the goal unguarded, the Bears capitalized on the empty net to restore their two-goal cushion. Kiersten Smith added another goal for Brown with two minutes remaining, sealing the 4-2 result.

The Bears finished with a 27-9 advantage in shots and a 14-5 edge in penalty corners ove the Red and Blue
