PHILADELPHIA – Nick Mazzeo and Allison Lee were announced Ivy League Cross Country Men's and Women's Athletes of the Week on Tuesday afternoon.

Mazzeo collected his second Ivy League Men's Cross Country Athlete of the Week honor after a standout showing at the 2026 Paul Short Invitational. The first-year finished third in the College Gold 8K in 24:03.1 in a field of 302 competitors, helping Penn secure fifth place out of 35 teams.

On the women's side, Lee was recognized as the Ivy League Women's Cross Country Athlete of the Week following her fifth-place finish out of 315 athletes at Paul Short. The first-year clocked in at 20:25.5, leading the Red and Blue to a strong second-place team finish.
