Personal: Son of Anthony and Kirstin Mazzeo ... Twin brother, Alexander, runs at Cornell ... Mother, Kirstin, played soccer and lacrosse and Haverford College ... Father, Anthony, played soccer at Haverford College 

Why Penn? “I chose Penn because it offers great academic opportunities in the areas I want to study, and has a long legacy of success in track and field. My coaches and teammates were very welcoming when I visited, and It felt like the place I wanted to be. I'm also proud to be able to continue to represent my hometown of Philadelphia on the course and track.”
