Luci In the Sky!
* Sophomore
Luci Toczydlowski has had a great start to the 2026 campaign. Toczydlowski placed first on the bars in each of the first two meets, scoring 9.800 and 9.750, respectively.
Fresh Faces
* At the Lindsey Ferris Invitational, sophomore newcomer
Maggie Murphy and freshman
Ananya Patanakul put together great performances. Murphy placed second on the beam (9.800) and fourth on the floor (9.750) while Patanakul placed second on the vault (9.775).
Quaker Notemeal
* Penn has placed first in their first two events of the year. This is the first time since at least 2009 the program has accomplished such a feat.
* Penn's 194.850 against Cornell and Bridgeport is the best opening season score in program history.
* Penn returns six First Team All-GEC honorees in
Jordan Barrow,
Manama Fofana,
Marissa Lassiter,
Sophia Paris,
Mimi Fletcher, and
Alisha Werlen. Lassiter and Werlen will lead the charge as team captains for the 2026 season.
* Head coach
Kirsten Becker is back for her fifth season in University City. Becker is the only coach in program history to win four conference championships. She is joined by assistant coaches
Casey Zacot and
Mabry Craddock.
* The Quakers ended the 2025 campaign ranked No. 45 in the Road to Nationals rankings and will look to build on that for the 2026 season.
Road to Nationals Rankings
* Week 2's ranking have the Quakers sitting at #42. Texas Woman's leads the way among the meet teams at #27. Temple comes in at #52 with George Washington coming in #59.
* The Quakers sit at #6 in the Northeast Regional rankings.
* Senior
Alisha Werlen comes in at #12 in the Northeast Regional all around rankings.
Scouting the Revolutionaries
* The Revolutionaries hosted the Lindsey Ferris Invitational this past Saturday, placing third just behind Penn and West Chester with a 191.375.
* Senior Deana Sheremeta claimed first on the beam (9.900) and all-around (38.850).
* Junior Maya Peters placed first on the floor with a 9.800.
Scouting the Owls
* The Owls enter this meet coming off a season-high 194.150 win against Long Island.
* Juniors Amelia Budd and Mariella Brueck earned matching 9.800's on the floor, helping towards a rotation score of 48.750.
* Freshman Jade Harden posted a career-high 9.775 on vault.
Scouting the Pioneers
* The Pioneers are 2-1 to open 2026. They opened the year with a win against Pitt before splitting with Denver and Arizona.
* In their latest meet, junior Caroline Bowns placed second on the bars with a 9.825.
* Fellow junior Sophie Hernandez and sophomore Kyleigh Ghanbari scored 9.875's at the event, best among Pioneers.
