PHILADELPHIA – Penn Athletics and Penn football are excited to announce its theme days and special promotions for the 2025 season. 
 
The home schedule includes traditional events such as Homecoming against Cornell on Nov. 8, Senior Day against Princeton on Nov. 22 and a fan favorite—Friday Night Frights—returning for the third straight year on Oct. 31 against Brown. 
 
2025 Themes and Promotions 
Saturday, October 4 vs. Dartmouth (1 p.m.) | ESPN+ 

• First Years on the Field – We invite all Penn first-year students to join us for a pregame fan tunnel, welcoming the Penn Football team to the field in their home opener! Participating first-year students will also get a VIP lanyard and credential. Students can click here to login and download their FREE ticket. 
• Most Valuable Professor – Join us as we celebrate Penn Football's nominated faculty members on the field for a halftime recognition. All professors and faculty members in attendance will receive a special welcome announcement during the game.   
• Penn HR Friends & Family Day – The Division of Human Resources and Penn Athletics invite faculty, staff, postdocs, and friends to a day of football, food, community, and fun! Penn friends and family can secure their seats by clicking here. 

 
Friday, October 10 vs. Marist (7 p.m.) | ESPN+ 

• Cancer Awareness Game – Join us as we partner with organizations across campus and in the community to raise awareness for all cancers and recognize those who have battled or are currently battling cancer.   
• Community Night – West Philadelphia schools, church groups, youth teams, and community groups are eligible to receive complimentary tickets to enjoy an evening of Penn football at historic Franklin Field. Friday, October 31 vs. Brown (7 p.m.) | ESPNU 

• Friday Night Frights – Get in the Halloween spirit while packing Franklin Field as we play under the Friday night lights. Children who dress in costume can receive a free game ticket at the door. Children will be able to "trick-or-treating" underneath the scoreboard. Penn Athletics will also host a pumpkin painting competition where fans can vote on their favorite pumpkin! Fans will also have the opportunity to submit their own pumpkins on social media ahead of the game! 

 
Saturday, November 8 vs. Cornell (1 p.m.) | ESPN+, NBC Sports Philadelphia Plus

• Homecoming – Home is where the Quakers are! We're excited to welcome all Penn alumni back to Franklin Field on Homecoming.   
• Collect them all! - Penn Athletics is introducing an improved athletics-wide giveaway program throughout the 2025-26 school year. Students can collect their 2025 Penn Football pin by visiting the Penn Rewards kiosk at this game. 

 
Saturday, November 22 vs. Princeton (1 p.m.) | ESPN+, NBC Sports Philadelphia

• Senior Day – Join us as we celebrate the Class of 2026! Don't forget to arrive early as we honor our senior Quakers in a special pregame ceremony for all of their contributions and hard work for the Penn Football program.  
• Military Appreciation Day - Penn Athletics will honor military members and their families throughout the game. Military Appreciation initiatives include:  
• In partnership with VetTix and the VA Hospital, fans will be able purchase tickets to be donated to veteran and active military members and their families (https://pennathletics.evenue.net/events/SFS)  
• Fans will have the opportunity to nominate a military hero in their life to be honored during the game (https://pennathletics.com/sb_output.aspx?form=136) 
• Military Care Package Drive: fans can bring a variety of care package items to be donated to active military members during their deployment (Donation bins will be available at each entrance) 
• A special station setup under the scoreboard where fans can write letters of support and encouragement to active and deployed service members 
• Active and veteran military members will be recognized on field and on the videoboard throughout the game
