*The Quakers own the all-time series against the Mountaineers, holding a 5-0 advantage.
*The last time these team met was during the 2019 season at Rhodes Field when Penn shut out the Mount 1-0.

*The Ivy League announced its women's soccer preseason poll on Monday afternoon, with the Quakers tied for sixth place with Dartmouth.
*Penn ended the 2024 season on a high, blanking Cornell 1-0 to close out the year. The Red and Blue rounded out the 2024 campaign with a 2-8-6 overall record, going 1-3-3 in Ivy League play.
*The Quakers return most of their starters from last year, as

Lily White return to the pitch in 2025.
*Goalkeeper Austen is the sole All-Ivy Quaker to return, landing First Team All-Ivy after a fantastic junior year. The keeper had the most saves (74) in the Ivy League, recording a 4.63 save percentage in 2024. Austen played every minute for the Quakers and docked the most minutes in the conference (1,440).

*The Red and Blue succeeded on the field and in the classroom in 2024, as Penn garnered its 25th straight Team Academic Award from the United Soccer Coaches (USC) earlier this month.
Scouting the Mountaineers
*The Mount bring a two-game loss to the City of Brotherly Love on Sunday, falling to Delaware (5-2) and Towson (5-0) to open the 2025 campaign.
* Cassidy Nichols and Taylor Simmons account for the goals the Mountaineers have scored so far this season. Simmons leads the offense with three points, dishing out Nichols' goal to pair with her own tally.
*The Quakers will likely face Abigail Makela in goal on Sunday. Makela docked 90 minutes between Mount Saint Mary's two games, stopping nine of 13 shots faced.
