PHILADELPHIA – With all eyes on a new chapter of Ivy League football, the University of Pennsylvania football team announced its schedule ahead of the 2025 season on Tuesday morning.
"I'm excited about the opportunities and challenges that the 2025 schedule presents," said the George A. Munger Head Coach
Ray Priore. "Opening the season with back-to-back road games is a chance for us to establish our identity before returning home to Franklin Field in early October.
"As always, Ivy League play will be highly competitive from start to finish, with the added incentive of competing for a spot in the FCS playoffs. We're focused on building momentum each week and preparing our student-athletes to perform at a high level. We look forward to representing Penn with pride throughout the year."
Penn will begin the year on the road for the first two contests before kickstarting both the home and Ivy schedule with an Oct. 4 matchup against Dartmouth at Franklin Field. That will be the first of five home games for the Quakers in 2025.
The season kicks off Sept. 20 at Stonehill in the first-ever game between the two programs. A regional rivalry renews a week later in Bethlehem on Sept. 27 when Penn takes on defending Patriot League champion Lehigh at Goodman Stadium. It will be the first time the two teams have squared off since 2021.
Penn opens its home schedule during the first weekend of October against the two-time defending Ivy League champion Big Green and then continues a short week just six days later with Marist on Friday, Oct. 10.
The Quakers head back onto the road a week later for a battle against Columbia—who are coming off its first Ivy title since 1961—on Oct. 18 and then a big matchup at Yale on Oct. 25.
Penn kickstarts a run of three home games in the final four weekends with a Oct. 31 game against Brown. With Homecoming set for Nov. 8, the Red and Blue will contest Cornell for the Trustees' Cup, looking for their fourth consecutive victory in one of the nation's longest active rivalries. The Quakers topped the Big Red in a historic, 67-49 victory last year in Ithaca.
Action heads north to Beantown on Nov. 15 as Penn faces off against Harvard before returning home for Senior Day against archrival Princeton Nov. 22.
For the first time ever, the Ivy League champion will participate in the NCAA FCS Playoffs, beginning Saturday, Nov. 29.
Season ticket renewals will go live at noon on Tuesday. Current season ticket holders can re-claim their seats by clicking this
