PRINCETON, N.J. – The University of Pennsylvania men's and women's track & field teams wrapped up competition on Saturday at the Princeton Elite Invitational.
Angel Asaah won both the women's shot put and discus events. Asaah claimed first in shot put with a first round mark of 14.52m (47' 7.75"). She recorded a second round mark of 53.16m (174' 5") in discus.
Madison Knier claimed third in javelin throwing a personal-best 45.18m (148' 3").
Samantha Strydesky cleared a personal-best height of 1.75m (5' 8.75") in high jump, placing third.
Kai Deines finished second in shot put with a mark of 17.32m (56' 10"). Deines placed third is discus at 51.40m (168' 8").
