PHILADELPHIA – The 14th-ranked University of Pennsylvania women's rowing team will make its push for another NCAA Championship bid this weekend when the Quakers compete at the Ivy League Championship. The races will once again take place on the Cooper River in nearby Cherry Hill, N.J., and for the second straight year the teams will race their heats on Saturday afternoon with finals taking place on Sunday morning.
All of the Championship races will be televised live on ESPN+.
The Championship will once again be chock full of ranked teams in addition to the Quakers—Yale is fifth in this week's Pocock CRCA national rankings while Princeton is sixth, Brown is eighth, Harvard is 12th, Dartmouth is 19th, and Columbia is 21st.
Penn is scheduled to crew five boats this weekend, three Eights and two Fours. All five will be seeded fifth in their respective fields.
