Quaker Notemeal
Penn enters the weekend 10-9 overall and 3-2 in conference play after split results last weekend. The Quakers won their first match last weekend against No. 69 Columbia, 4-3, dropping the doubles point but earning four wins in singles (No. 110 Esha Velaga at No. 2, Lara Stojanovski at No. 3, Gavriella Smith at No. 5, and Maya Urata at No. 6) to secure the match. The Red and Blue subsequently fell to Cornell, 1-4, as the Big Red earned the doubles point (2-0) and three wins in singles to sweep the match.

Penn now sits in a three-way tie for second in the conference standings, Harvard securing at least a portion of the Ivy League title last weekend. All three teams behind first-place Harvard hold a 3-2 conference record (Penn is tied with No. 69 Columbia, No. 70 Yale for second). Led by No. 69 Sabine Rutlauka and No. 110 Esha Velaga, the Quakers still have a chance at a portion of the conference title this year. With their win over No. 69 Columbia last weekend and a win over No. 70 Yale, the Red and Blue could possess a share of the conference title for the first time since 2007 should Harvard lose both of their remaining matches.

Previewing the Bears
Brown enters the weekend .500 on the year with a 2-3 conference record. Earning wins over No. 70 Yale (then No. 59) and Cornell, the Bears sit in the middle of the Ivy League standings at fifth place. Brown looks to finish strong this weekend, dropping their matches against Harvard (2-4) and Dartmouth (1-4) last weekend. Following Saturday's match in Philadelphia, the Bears will close out their schedule with a match against Princeton on Sunday.

When Brown and Penn met earlier this season in the ECAC Indoor Championship, the Quakers topped the Bears with a 4-2 to close out the consolation bracket. In their regular-season meeting last spring, the Red and Blue swept Brown, 4-0 in Providence, R.I.

Previewing the Bulldogs
No. 70 Yale enters the weekend 12-8 overall on the year and 3-2 in conference play. The Bulldogs are still in the hunt for a share of the conference title, traveling to Princeton on Saturday ahead of Sunday's clash with the Quakers. The Elis come into the weekend with a chip on their shoulder, losing their match against Harvard last Sunday to give the Crimson the conference title.

When the two sides met last season, Yale edged Penn, 4-3 in New Haven, Conn. The result was repeated in the opening match of the ECAC Indoor Championship, the Bulldogs besting the Quakers by one.
