PRINCETON, N.J. – The University of Pennsylvania wrestling team competed in the inaugural Ivy League Wrestling Championships hosted by Princeton at the Jadwin Gymnasium on Sunday.
Penn placed second as a team with 129.5 points at the inaugural Ivy League Championships, headed by
Ryan Miller (133),
CJ Composto (141), and
Cross Wasilewski (149), winning individual titles.
Quaker Notemeal
*All ten Quakers placed at the tournament, with eight taking spots on the podium.

Max Gallagher (125),
Jude Swisher (157), and
Maximus Hale (184) were runners-up at their weights to trail the individual champions.

Nick Incontrera (174) and
John Pardo (285) captured the third-place bouts at their weights, followed by
Andy Troczynski (165) and
Nate Taylor (197), placing fourth to even out the Red and Blue with top-five finishes.
*Gallagher, Miller, Composto, Wasilewski, Swisher, and Hale earned automatic bids to the 2025 NCAA Wrestling Championships co-hosted by Penn at the Wells Fargo Center March 20-22.
How It Happened
Senior Miller earned a scrappy win over Cornell's Tyler Ferrara, getting the sole takedown in the bout to earn the 133 crown off a decision, 4-2. Junior Composto kept the finals streak going, taking the 141 title off a shutout decision over Princeton's Eligh Rivera, 4-0.
Freshman Wasilewski stayed dominant in the 149 final, edging out Cornell's Ethan Fernandez by decision, 5-1, to win the Quakers' third and final individual title at the championships.
Senior Incontrera won the 174 third-place bout over Harvard's Haden Bottiglieri in a dominant fashion off a major decision, 14-1. Freshman Pardo landed third at heavyweight due to an injury default from Brown's Alex Semenko.
