PHILADELPHIA – The University of Pennsylvania fencing programs completed the NCCA Mid-Atlantic/South Regional on Saturday night.
Sabrina Cho and
Simon Kushkov won their events to lead Penn at the regional.
The Red and Blue had eight other Quakers place in the top ten of their events in North Jersey, with
Antonio Heathcock following Kushkov with a second-place finish in saber, trailed by
Gian Dhingra in third.
Victoria Kuznetsov (epee) trailed senior Cho in fourth place, followed by
Leah Blum placing fifth in saber.
Katina Proestakis Ortiz placed sixth in foil,
Katherine Andres landed eighth in saber, while
Grace Hu (epee)
Vivian Lu (saber) both earned tenth to even out the Quakers, who placed in the top ten.
