Women's Tennis to Host Fairleigh Dickinson on Saturday

PHILADELPHIA— The University of Pennsylvania women's tennis team is looking to build momentum after their win against Lehigh last weekend.

Penn will host Fairleigh Dickinson this Saturday, March 8, at 11:00 a.m. in the Hecht Tennis Center. As injuries have altered the roster, the Quakers look to improve to over .500 in their 2025 campaign with this match.

Quaker Notemeal
Penn enters the match 5-5 overall on the year. In their last time out, the Quakers defeated Lehigh at home with a 7-0 sweep. Missing their top player senior Sabine Rutlauka to injury, the Red and Blue have struggled so far this season with both parts of the dual match. Most notably, the doubles pairings have changed match-to-match with the injuries, but the Quakers seemed to find their rhythm last match. With sophomore Esha Velaga returning from injury last week, Penn hopes to build positive momentum in their match this weekend.

Previewing the Knights
FDU enters the weekend 2-3 on the calendar year, winning their last match against Long Island. With losses against Drexel and Delaware, the Knights have collected wins against New Jersey Institute of Technology and Saint John's with a match against Hofstra canceled today.
