PHILADELPHIA - The University of Pennsylvania women's swimming team is sending two members of the program to the 2025 NCAA Championships in Federal Way, Wash. at the Weyerhaeuser King County Aquatics Center from Wednesday, March 19 to Saturday, March 22.
Juniors
Anna Moehn and
Sydney Bergstrom are going to compete in several distance races for the Quakers, beginning on Thursday.
Moehn is set to compete in her second consecutive NCAA Championships. Last year, she placed 33rd overall in the mile with a time of 16:14.74 and timed in at 4:46.60 in the 500 free to take 59th. At Ivy League Championships last month, Moehn placed second in the 500 free, 200 free and 1,650 free. Moehn will represent the Quakers in all NCAA events.
Bergstrom will make her first appearance at an NCAA Championships this week. Bergstrom made a strong run to the postseason after taking bronze in the 1,650-yard free with a time of 16:07.96.
Last year at NCAAs,
Anna Kalandadze became a first-team All-America in the mile by taking fourth place.
