PHILADELPHIA— The University of Pennsylvania women's tennis team concluded ECAC Championship tournament play with a win over conference opponent Brown. Playing to clinch, the final score of the match was 4-2.

The Quakers jumped out to an early lead with two victories in the doubles matches, abandoning the third to begin singles play.

Gavriella Smith made quick work of Lindsey Hofflander, adding an additional point for the Red and Blue. Isabella Hu and Ali Maguy closed the gap, bringing the score to two all with dominant wins in two sets each.

Eileen Wang took control of her match early, allowing Gabriella Soliman to only win four games in two sets. Her commanding victory put the Quakers back up 3-2 with two matches left to finish.

All eyes fell on Sarah Wang and Lara Stojanovski as they fought through the final two matches. Wang won her first set 7-5, but fell behind to Daniella Benabraham in the second set. At the same time, Stojanovski danced around court two, taking set one over Addison Ahlstrom 6-4. Stojanovski, with her team watching, dominated Ahlstrom in the second set 6-2, securing the match for the Quakers.
