PHILADELPHIA – The University of Pennsylvania wrestling team dropped its homestand opener Thursday night in The Palestra, falling 22-12 to nationally ranked Lehigh.

How It Happened
Lehigh controlled the pace of the outing from the start, taking the first four matches to lead 16-0. Senior Composto slashed the Mountain Hawks' lead off a comeback 10-9 win over Carter Bailey. Freshman Wasilewski followed Composto's lead during the 149 bout, topping #14 Malyke Hines by decision, 10-7, to cut Lehigh's lead to 16-6.
#19 Swisher kept the hope alive for the Quakers, topping #24 Logan Rozynski by decision, 10-6, to bring the Red and Blue closer at 16-9, but the Mountain Hawks prevailed, taking the 165 match to extend their lead to ten points. #12 Incontrera did his part, winning his battle with Rylan Rogers, 4-1, but the Quakers' comeback fell short as Lehigh secured the meet off the 184 bout.
