PHILADELPHIA – The United Soccer Coaches (USC) announced the NCAA Division I Men's Soccer All-Regions teams on Monday morning, with
Patrick Cayelli and
Connor Dawson of the University of Pennsylvania men's soccer team earning a spot on the All-Northeast Region.
Midfielder Cayelli and defender Dawson earned a spot on the All-Northeast Second Team after strong performances during the 2025 season.
Cayelli, who earned unanimous First Team All-Ivy for the first time in his career, had having a breakout senior season, leading the Ivy League in assists (8), goals (9), shots on goal (25), and points (26). Cayelli's 26 points are a career-high for the senior, headed by a six-point performance and hat trick in Penn's 6-1 win over William & Mary from October and 11 total points in Ivy League play. Cayelli also works hard off the field, earning Academic All-Ivy and CSC Academic All-District for his performance in the classroom.
Junior Dawson landed a spot on the first team after leading a Quaker backline that recorded only 12 goals and 72 shots on net. The defender has docked a team-high 1,519 minutes and has started in all 17 matches. On the offensive end of the field, Dawson has tallied a pair of assists so far this year.
