FAIRFAX, Va. – The University of Pennsylvania wrestling team wrapped up the 2025 Patriot Open hosted by George Mason on Sunday afternoon, with a Quaker placing inside the George Mason Field House.
Liam Carlin earned third place at 174 off a major decision over Appalachian State's Colt Campbell, 15-1, to lead the charge for Penn in the DMV.

*Freshman Carlin and senior Urbas both battled to the 174 quarterfinals and Carlin advanced to the semifinals to highlight the Red and Blue at the open.
*Freshman Stout, sophomore Fullmer, and freshman Heard each picked up a win in the outing as well.
*Senior Hauserman made his season debut in Fairfax.
