Sprint Football Travels to Molloy on Friday for Final Road Test of the Season

PHILADELPHIA – The University of Pennsylvania sprint football team closes out road action on Friday, Nov. 7, traveling to Molloy for a 7 p.m. contest.

The Penn vs. Molloy Series
*These teams met for the first time in program history last year, with Penn shutting Molloy out 49-0 at Franklin Field.
 
*Tom Rebstock led the offensive charge in the outing, scoring a career-high four touchdowns.
 
*This will be the first time the Quakers face the Lions in a road battle.
 
Quaker Notemeal
*Penn closed out CSFL South action last weekend, falling 36-21 to undefeated Navy.
 
*Senior Jake Wang had a career-high performance against the Mids, catching seven passes for 108 yards.
 
*Ryan Goodrich, Xavier May IV, and Jason Sheairs accounted for Penn's three scores in the battle.
*On the defensive side of the ball, Gavin Griswold led the charge with ten tackles, while Grant Coulson recorded the sole Quaker pick in the game with the Midshipmen. 
 
*Ezra Granet nailed career-high three extra point attempts against the Mids to garner CSFL Special Teams Player of the Week on Monday afternoon.
 
*Colin Cross leads the Red and Blue with 46 tackles, including 37 solos on the year.


*Sheairs leads the offense with three touchdowns and 19 receptions for 289 yards. Xavier MayAndrew Piscatelli, and Jake Wang account for the other Quaker touchdowns scored so far this year. 

*Josh Johnson brings 35 completed passes off 75 attempts into Saturday's battle. The junior also leads the Quakers with four picks on the year.
 
Scouting the Lions
*Molloy had their bye-week last week, most recently falling 63-0 to Navy back on October 24.
 
*Paulie Drummond IV took over at quarterback for the Lions, having 43 completed passes of 91 attempts and four touchdowns on the year.
 
*Peter von Schoenermarck leads the team with three receiving touchdowns, while Ryan Downes, Drummond, and Wilbert Spell III have all rushed in a tally each.
 
*Ayden Das leads the defense with 40 tackles, including 28 solos through six games.
