PHILADELPHIA – The University of Pennsylvania wrestling team returns to the Palestra for the first time this season this weekend, hosting Hofstra and the PRTC Keystone Classic.

The Penn vs. Hofstra Series
*Hofstra holds the all-time advantage in the series, leading 6-5, but Penn owns the three most recent wins.
 
*The Quakers topped the Pride 39-7 on the road last season, with Max Gallagher (125), Ryan Miller (133), CJ Composto (141), Cross Wasilewski (149), Jude Swisher (157), Nick Incontrera (174), Maximus Hale (184), and John Pardo (285) accounting for Penn's 39 points in the road victory.
 
Keystone Classic Field
Central Michigan, Drexel, Edinboro, F&M, Harvard, Hofstra, Lock Haven, Michigan State, #14 Rutgers, and #8 Virginia Tech will join the Red and Blue in the Palestra on Sunday.
 
Quaker Notemeal
*The Quakers won their first dual of the season this past Saturday, defeating Campbell 36-6 on the USS Yorktown CV-10 at the Throwdown on the Yorktown.
 
*Penn dominated the meet, taking eight of ten matches against the Camels, with Davis Motyka (125), Evan Mougalian (133), Nathan Taylor (141) #5 Wasilewski (149), Jackson Polo (157), Caden Bellis (174), Greyson Meak (184), and sophomore Pardo (285) winning their bouts.
 
*Freshmen Motyka, Taylor, Bellis, and Meak, and junior Polo won the first duals of their collegiate careers, while head coach Matt Valenti earned his first win at the helm of the program. 
 
*Four Quakers sit in the Intermat and FloWrestling rankings, with sophomore Wasilewski leading the charge at #6 in the 149 field. #11 Jude Swisher (157), #28 Mougalian (133), and #31 Motyka (125) round out the Red and Blue in the rankings.
 
Scouting the Pride
*Hofstra brings a 1-3 dual record to University City on Saturday, most recently falling 32-6 to Ivy League foe Columbia last weekend.
 
*The Pride's sole win on the season comes from a 21-15 road win at Sacred Heart earlier this month.
