PHILADELPHIA – The Collegiate Sprint Football League (CSFL) announced its weekly awards on Monday afternoon, with Xavier May IV of the University of Pennsylvania sprint football team earning Rookie of the Week.
 
Freshman May scored his first collegiate touchdown against St. Thomas Aquinas this past Friday night. May's third-quarter tally led the Quakers past the Spartans to secure a 15-14 win, the first of the year for Penn. The running back recorded 79 yards on the ground on 19 attempts.
 
May and the rest of the Red and Blue hit the road this weekend, heading to Army on Friday, Oct. 10, for a 7 p.m. matchup.
