Colin Cross co-led the defense against the Mounties with eight tackles each. Butler's eight solo stops account for a career-high outing for the junior.
*Sophomore Cross leads the overall defense with 18 tackles on the year.
Josh Johnson and
Hugh Maley co-led with two interceptions each.
*Quarterback
Jaxson Nield brings three passing touchdowns and 320 yards to Franklin Field this week. Sophomore Sheairs and Andrew Piscaetlli account for the trio of touchdowns caught so far this season.
Scouting the Spartans
*STAC carries a 1-1, 1-0 CSFL North record to University City this week, opening the year with a 14-13 win over Molloy.
*The Spartans most recently fell 28-7 to Navy last weekend. Hunter Gennicks rushed for 71 yards to bring home the sole STAC tally in the matchup.
*Quarterback Tynez Harp holds 19 completed passes of 32 attempted for 103.5 yards and one touchdown.
*Brandon Jimenez leads the defense with 16 total tackles and two forced fumbles.
