Women's Soccer Closes Out Season With Senior Day Against Yale

PHILADELPHIA – The University of Pennsylvania women's soccer team returns home for the final time this season, taking on the Yale Bulldogs on Rhodes Field this Saturday at 7 p.m. This match will be Senior Day, where we will recognize all graduating members of the program.

*The Quakers enter this match with an all-time record against the Bulldogs of 11-14-8.

*The most recent contest between these two teams came in 2024, when the Quakers and Bulldogs tied, 2-2, in New Haven.

* The Red and Blue held a nine-year unbeaten streak from 2010-2018, which included seven wins and four clean sheets.

* The most recent Quaker victory came in 2021, when the Quakers downed the Bulldogs, 4-0, on Rhodes Field. That win represents the largest margin of victory for Penn in the series.

* Senior netminder Annabel Austen was named Ivy League Defensive Player of the Week on Monday. This is the fifth time in her career she has earned the honor and the second time this season. She will end her exceptional career at Penn on Saturday.

* Junior Abbey Cook continues to score, bringing her tally to six on the year following a go-ahead goal against Harvard. She now has more goals this year than her last two combined.

* With one last start, Abbey Cook, Taylor Ferraro, Clare Robke, and Eden Veenema will have started every match this season.

* The Quakers have 21 goals this season. That is the most goals they have scored in a season since the 2021 season (29).

* They Quakers are also two shots shy of tying last year's total of 149.

* The Quakers depth has been a strong suit all season. 20 total players made appearances in at least five matches this year.
