PHILADELPHIA – The Ivy League released its weekly awards Monday afternoon, with goalkeeper
Annabel Austen earning her second Defensive Player of the Week of the season.
Senior goalkeeper Austen secures her fifth career Defensive Player of the Week of her career, with three coming in 2024, and now two in 2025. Austen had a career performance against Harvard this past Saturday, tying a career-high in saves with 10 and holding Harvard to one goal on 24 shots faced. The performance helped guide Penn to its first Ivy win of the year.
Austen has an astounding 27 saves in her last three games and checks in at second in the Ivy in save percentage (.806) and saves per game (4.91). Austen will end her Penn career on Rhodes Field this Saturday when Penn duels with Yale on Senior Day.
