PHILADELPHIA – The men's heavyweight and women's crews will compete in the Head of the Schuylkill regatta on Saturday; for the women, this marks the start of their season as the Navy Day Regatta was canceled two weeks ago due to inclement weather.

The men's heavyweights will oar nine boats on Saturday: three in the Championship Eights; two each in the Club Championship Eights, the Championship Fours, and the Championship Pair without Cox; and one in the College Frosh/Novice Fours.
 
The women are scheduled to put 12 boats on the water on Saturday—four in the Championship Eights, three in the Club Eights, two in both the Championship Fours and Frosh/Novice Fours, and one in the Frosh/Novice Eights.
