PHILADELPHIA – The University of Pennsylvania rowing programs are ready to begin fall competition and will do so Sunday when the men's heavyweight and lightweight programs participate in arguably the highlight of the fall racing season, the Head of the Charles Regatta in Boston. The three-day, head-style racing event begins Friday and culminates on Sunday.
The men's heavyweights will row two boats this weekend, with a pair of entries in the Championship Eights on Sunday.
The men's lightweights will race three boats on Sunday afternoon, two in the Fours and one in the Eights.
