PHILADELPHIA – The University of Pennsylvania wrestling team rings in 2025 on the road this weekend, heading to the Elite Duals hosted by Northern Iowa on Jan. 10-11 and the F&M Open on Jan. 10.

*Penn closed out 2024 on a high note, placing third at the 2024 Midlands Championships. *Senior CJ Composto shined, winning the 141 Midlands Individual title.
 
*Seven Quakers are ranked in the FloWrestling and Intermat top 30 of their weight classes, with senior Incontrera leading the charge as the #5 wrestler at 174. #9 Composto (141), #18 Jude Swisher (157), #19 Cross Wasilewski (149), #20 Maximus Hale (184), #25 Ryan Miller (133), and #29 Max Gallagher (125) even out Penn's presence in the rankings.
 
*Head coach Roger Reina is one win away from 250. He will be the sole coach in program history to hit the milestone.
 
*The Red and Blue will kick off the Elite Duals against Ohio on Friday at 11 a.m. (EST). This will be the first meeting between the two teams in program history.

*Cal Poly, Cal State Bakersfield, Central Michigan, Drexel, George Mason, Ohio, Sacred Heart, #14 South Dakota State, SIUE, #17 Little Rock, Northern Colorado, and Wyoming will join the Quakers and host #7 Northern Iowa in Cedar Falls.
