PHILADELPHIA– The University of Pennsylvania women's tennis team opened its 2025 schedule with two dominant wins over Villanova and St. Joe's in the Hecht Tennis Center on Monday. 

The Quakers swept the Wildcats in the first half of their doubleheader (7-0) before sweeping the Hawks in the afternoon match (7-0). Winning with relative ease, the Red and Blue are looking good and feeling confident going into their matches this weekend in the ITA Kickoff Weekend at USC in California.
