PHILADELPHIA – Ahead of her second season as the University of Pennsylvania's head softball coach, Christie Novatin announced the Quakers schedule for their 2025 season. With three tournaments to start the season, the Red and Blue prepare for a 42-game slate with six series to be played at Penn Park.

"The 2025 season is here, and we are ready to get started," said Novatin. "With games starting a week earlier this year, we are eager to utilize our early-season tournament trips to gain momentum for the Ivy League, We will visit Elon University, where alumna Jennifer Strawley C'98 is the Athletic Director, then take trips to the home stadiums of two regional finalists, the University of Virginia and Grand Canyon University.

"I am looking forward to the journey with this team and watching them write their story in our history books. They are a resilient and determined group of women ready to welcome the challenges ahead and the lessons essential to growth. Together, they have the potential to leave a lasting impression on the league."

Penn opens the 2025 campaign at Elon University in North Carolina for the Elon Softball Phoenix Invitational Tournament from February 14-16 before continuing on to the University of Virginia Tournament (February 21-23). The Quakers close out tournament play with GCU's Purple Classic Tournament in Arizona (March 7-9) before returning for their home openers at Penn Park against Rider (March 11) and Seton Hall (March 12).

The Quakers open Ivy League play on the road at Yale (March 15 & 16) and stay on the road to face Lehigh (March 19) and Columbia (March 22 & 23), before returning to University City with a
quick trip to neighboring Drexel (March 26). The Red and Blue's first Ivy League home series comes against Brown at Penn Park (March 29 & 30).

After a midweek trip to the Main Line to face Villanova (April 2), Penn returns home to host Harvard (March April 5 & 6) during Alumni Weekend. The next two Ivy weekends are on the road, at Dartmouth (April 12 & 13) and Cornell (April 19 & 20), before the Red and Blue conclude conference play at Penn Park against Princeton (April 26 & 27).
