PHILADELPHIA - The University of Pennsylvania women's soccer team were outscored by Columbia 3-0 in Saturday afternoons first conference match of the season.
The Quakers now sit at 1-6-2 and the Lions will advance to 3-3-3.

Maya Leschly both had two shots in the matchup with Columbia. Following,

Magali Capdevila,
Mallory Lucas and Claire Robke.

Leah Finkelman all clocked a full 90 minutes on the pitch.
*In addition, Goalkeeper
Annabel Austen recorded 90 minutes of play securing six saves on goal.
How It Happened
In the 39th minute, Columbia Sam Cohn hit the net to give the Lions a lead heading into the half.
The Quakers had an opportunity in the 54th minute to score after they were awarded a free kick by Freshman
Hailey Adamsky but was ultimately off target.
In retaliation, Columbia Ania Prussak made the stretch to score but was saved by goalkeeper
Annabel Austen.
After some more back and forth play, Columbia Charlyse Berry goes for an off target shot in the 70th minute. Berry goes again two minutes later with a big save from Austen to keep their chances alive.
In the last six minutes of play, the Lion's scored two goals in the 84th and 87th minute of play by Dema Elde and Nata Ramirez to secure their lead.
Penn
Hailey Adamsky tried to counterbalance the matchup in the last minute but was ultimately unsuccessful to score.
