PLYMOUTH MEETING, Pa. – The University of Pennsylvania men's golf team used a strong Sunday to finish second out of 11 teams at the Temple Invitational. The two-day, 36-hole tournament concluded Sunday on the par-70 course at The 1912 Club.

Penn shot 292 in Saturday's first round, but came back with the best team score of the day on Sunday, a 3-over-par 283. That left the Quakers at 15-over-par 575 for the weekend which had them just two shots behind their neighbors along 33rd Street, Drexel (573). The Dragons carded 287 on Sunday, while no other team in the field shot better than 292.
Senior
Ben Scott was Penn's low scorer on the weekend and tied with two other golfers for third place in a field of 66 golfers as he shot 70-71—141 to finish the tournament at 1-over-par. Sophomore
Max Fonseca tied for seventh at 7-over-par 143, shooting an even-par 70 on Sunday, while classmate
Hayden Adams also went even par on Sunday and finished the weekend at 5-over-par 145 to tie for 12th. Freshman
Wesley Hu scored for the Quakers on Saturday and ended the weekend at 9-over-par 149, while senior
George Roessler scored on Sunday and carded 10-over-par 150 for the tourney.
Drexel's Drue Nicholas and La Salle's Benjamin Battye tied for individual medalist honors, both of them carding even-par 140.
