PHILADELPHIA - The Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA) has announced its Division I Cobalt Golf All-America Scholars for the 2025-26 academic year in men's golf, and the list includes University of Pennsylvania rising upperclassmen Hayden Adams and Ryan Chang.
 
To be eligible for Cobalt Golf All-America Scholar nomination, an individual must be a sophomore, junior or senior both academically and athletically. In addition, they must participate in 50 percent of their team's competitive rounds, have a stroke average under 76.0, and maintain a minimum cumulative career grade-point average of 3.20. A recipient must also be of high moral character and be in good standing at their college or university. Overall, 649 NCAA Division I athletes from 210 schools earned Cobalt Golf All-America Scholar honors for the 2025-26 season.

In addition, Penn's team was one of four Ivy League programs and 88 nationally at the Division I level to achieve All-Academic Team status. That announcement came on Wednesday, August 5.
 
A first-team All-Ivy selection by the conference's coaches, Adams played 27 tournament rounds across 10 tournaments this season and had a team-low 72.9 stroke average, finishing the season 1.67 above par per round. He was the Quakers' low scorer six times throughout the season and was second among Penn players three other times. During the Ivy League Championship, he finished first among Quakers and tied for fifth overall, which landed him a place on the All-Championship team. Adams posted two other top-five finishes, including a second-place mark at the Bandon Dunes Championship. The rising senior was the team's low scorer during all six spring events, and his low round was a 6-under-par 65 at Bandon Dunes.
 
Chang competed in nine tournaments and ranked third on the team with a 75.9 stroke average across his 25 tournament rounds. He was the Red and Blue's low scorer to open the season at the Alex Lagowitz Memorial, finishing t-11th with a two-over-par outing. As an individual, the Brookline, Mass. native recorded a 72-76-74—222 (+9) at the Wildcat Fazio Invite to earn a share of sixth place, his best finish over the campaign. Chang was Penn's second-lowest scorer at the Ivy League Championship, where he shot 78-76-78—232 (+16) and placed t-24th individually.
