*These are the first meetings between Penn and Northern Arizona and Arizona State in program history.
*Penn opened the season last weekend with a pair of local road matches, falling 1-0 on the Main Line to Villanova on Friday and then 2-1 to neighborhood foe Drexel on Sunday.
*Freshman Mila Matlby is the only goal scorer through the first two matches for Penn; her first collegiate goal came in the second half of Sunday's match at Drexel, when she took a feed from sophomore
Abbey Cook and fired an absolute laser into the upper right corner from about 30 yards out.
*Junior
Annabel Austen started as keeper for both matches last week. She missed the entire season of play in 2023 due to injury but is back in the rotation to start this season. Austen tallied six saves on the weekend, with three in both contests.
*Senior
Maya Leschly and freshman
Isabella Zulli worked nonstop on Sunday, playing the full 90 minutes against the Dragons.
*Senior
Kat Peroulas and
Magali Capdevila put up two shots each in the battle with the Wildcats while freshman
Lily White attempted one.
*The Red and Blue had no shots on goal against Villanova but changed the script against Drexel. In addition to the goal by Maltby, Peroulas and Cook both had attempts on cage against the Dragons.
